  Driver Assistance systems are a group of electronically controlled features that assist drivers as they drive their vehicles. These systems have become very popular on high end vehicles.
  Driver assistance systems can easily be described in other groups of automotive features such as some of the comfort features or selected active safety features. Their purpose is to assist the driver in certain aspects of driving.
  The assistance systems are usually features that have to be turned on or is activated only in certain circumstances as the driver should be able to decide in most cases whether they want the assistance or not. Some of these systems are designed to help the driver in certain decision making.
